Annie Barrows, author of the Ivy and Bean series, discusses her latest installment, becoming a better but not faster writer, and some of the advantages and disadvantages of co-authoring a book.

Annie Barrows grew up in Northern California and graduated from the University of California at Berkley (with a degree in medieval history no less!).  She is the author of the New York Times best-selling Ivy and Bean series, and co-author of the New York Times best-seller The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society

Barrows sat down with Indiezone.tv's Christie McDonald at the Library of Congress National Bookfest to talk about her latest installment of the Ivy and Bean series, Ivy & Bean Make The Rules. In the interview she gives an author's synopsis, explains she's gotten better at writing her books but not faster at the enterprise, and discusses the pros and cons to co-writing a book vs. writing alone.  She is a charmer this one; we hope you enjoy the interview as much as we did!
